About this item
The Arctic P12 Pro PWM is a 120mm case fan rated to 3000 rpm. It is a useful upgrade when stock fans can't keep a gaming PC or workstation cool. It uses a standard 4-pin PWM connector, comes in black as model ACFAN00305A, and is listed new at $8.99.
Will a 3000 rpm 120mm PC fan be too loud?
Because it is PWM controlled, your motherboard can slow it down at idle and ramp it up only under load. Set a fan curve in the BIOS to balance noise and cooling.
- Fit: confirm your case or radiator takes 120mm fans.
- Headers: check that you have a free 4-pin fan header or a hub.
- Quantity: make sure the listing is for one fan or a pack, so you order enough.
- Use cases: front intake, rear exhaust, or mounting on a CPU cooler or radiator.
