About this item
For under eight dollars, ARCTIC MX-6 thermal paste for CPU coolers comes with 4 g of paste and 6 MX Cleaner. You can remove the old layer and apply fresh paste in one go. It's a good fit if you're building a desktop, swapping a cooler or refreshing an older laptop.
How many applications does 4 g of ARCTIC MX-6 cover?
It depends on the chip size and how much you use. A desktop CPU needs much more than a small laptop chip, so 4 g can last for several jobs.
- Cleaner included: the six MX Cleaner pieces help you remove dried paste first.
- Part number: ACTCP00084A is in the title, which helps you match the exact version.
- Application: a thin, even layer works better than a thick blob.
- Storage: put the cap back on between uses.
It's worth keeping in your PC toolkit for future upgrades.
