About this item
Arctic MX-4 thermal compound paste has been a go-to for years when builders re-paste a CPU, service a laptop or fit a new cooler. This listing offers 4g, 8g, 20g and 45g sizes, and the price shown is $19.99.
Which size of MX-4 thermal paste should you buy?
One desktop build or laptop re-paste uses only a small amount, so 4g is plenty if you only do this now and then. Repair shops and anyone servicing lots of machines get more value from 20g or 45g.
- Variation: check which size the $19.99 price is for before you check out.
- Application: clean off the old paste with isopropyl alcohol and spread a thin, even layer.
- Uses: useful for CPU coolers, re-pasting graphics cards and laptop maintenance.
- Tools: see whether a spreader or cleaning wipes are included.
