About this item
Repasting an old laptop or finishing a fresh CPU build? Arctic MX-6 thermal paste comes in an 8 g amount here (part ACTCP00081A) for $7.99, and the title lists CPUs, consoles and laptops as uses.
How much Arctic MX-6 thermal compound do I need per CPU?
A small dot or thin line on a desktop CPU is usually enough, so 8 g should cover several jobs. Applying too much won't help cooling and makes cleanup messier.
- Clean first: remove old paste with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
- Consoles and laptops: check a teardown guide for your device, since some spots use thermal pads that shouldn't be replaced with paste.
- Authenticity: compare packaging in the photos with the part number ACTCP00081A.
- Applicator: check whether a spatula or wipes are included.
Handy for PC builders, repair techs and gamers refreshing an aging console.
