About this item
A 32GB DDR5-6000 CL36 RAM kit is a popular amount of memory for modern desktop builds. This G.SKILL Flare X5 set is split into two 16GB DIMMs (part F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5). It suits gamers, streamers and creators who run heavier apps and want dual-channel memory.
Will this DDR5-6000 memory work in my motherboard?
Only if your board takes DDR5 DIMMs. It won't fit DDR4 boards or laptops that use SO-DIMMs. Hitting the full 6000 speed also depends on your CPU and board settings.
- Compatibility: check your motherboard's memory support list for this part number.
- Speed profile: DDR5 kits often need a memory profile turned on in BIOS to run at their rated speed.
- Clearance: the title doesn't give heatspreader height, so check the listing if you use a large air cooler.
- Packaging: make sure the photos show both sticks and the kit label.
