About this item
On paper, this new ASUS ROG G700 gaming desktop is a top-tier build: an Ultra 9 285K, an RTX 5080, 64GB of RAM, a 2TB SSD and Windows 11 Home. At $1,299.99, the asking price is unusually low for those parts, which is a reason to read the listing slowly.
How do I vet a low-priced ROG G700 RTX 5080 desktop?
Focus on the seller and the evidence. Strong feedback, real photos of the machine and a clear description of what ships matter more than headline specs.
- Seller history: check feedback volume and recent ratings for high-value electronics.
- Proof of specs: ask for a screenshot showing the 285K, RTX 5080 and 64GB in system info.
- Payment: pay only through eBay checkout so the eBay Money Back Guarantee applies.
- Fit: if everything checks out, it suits high-resolution gaming, streaming and 3D rendering.
