What can a Raspberry Pi 5 AI HAT+ 13 TOPS setup do?
It's designed to run vision models locally. For example, it can detect people or objects in a camera feed without sending data to the cloud. The 8GB of RAM also handles a full desktop environment comfortably.
- Camera: none is listed, so you'll likely need one for vision projects.
- Power supply and microSD: check whether either is included.
- Open box: confirm the HAT's mounting hardware is there.
- Cooling: ask whether a cooler comes with it.
It's a compact starting point for students and makers learning on-device AI.
