About this item
For tinkerers, this Dell OptiPlex 9020 Micro with an i3-4160T at 3.10GHz is a $45.00 starting point, not a ready-to-use computer. It comes with no RAM and no SSD, so you add the memory and storage yourself. That makes it a fit for a DIY home server, a firewall box, a lab machine or spare parts.
What do I need to get a Dell OptiPlex 9020 Micro running?
Plan on adding a memory module, a drive and an operating system. Check the listing for the memory type and drive slots the seller confirms.
- Power: see whether a power adapter is included, since micro PCs use an external power brick.
- Mounting: look for any brackets in the photos.
- Condition: zoom in on the photos for missing covers or damaged ports.
- Reference: "S14-0" in the title looks like the seller's own stock code.
