About this item
The Thermaltake Poseidon Z Plus mechanical gaming keyboard (model KB-PZP-KLBLUS-01) is listed as an open box unit for $68.99. Mechanical switches give each keypress a clear, defined feel, and many gamers and heavy typists prefer that to membrane boards.
What should I check on an open box Poseidon Z Plus mechanical keyboard?
Start with the model code, which should read KB-PZP-KLBLUS-01 on the label. Then go through the photos and description for condition notes. Open box can mean a returned item or a unit that was only unboxed, so the details matter.
- Switch type: the title doesn't say. Ask the seller if you prefer a certain feel.
- Keycaps: look for missing or shiny caps.
- Accessories: make sure the cable and any extras are included.
- Testing: see whether the seller says every key was tested.
It's a good fit for a budget gaming desk or a first mechanical keyboard.
