About this item
The HE in the name of this Wooting 80HE ANSI gaming keyboard stands for Hall effect magnetic switches, the technology behind the fast, adjustable inputs many competitive FPS players want. This Ghost PCR plastic version is listed open box at $160. ANSI means the standard US layout, with a wide Enter key and a long left Shift.
Is an open-box Wooting 80HE a smart buy?
It can save money compared with buying new, as long as the board arrives complete and every key registers.
- Ask which cable and accessories come in the box.
- Confirm you want ANSI if you are used to ISO keys, because the two layouts are not interchangeable.
- Check the listing photos for scuffs on the plastic case.
- Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
An 80 layout usually suits players who want arrows and a function row without a number pad, but confirm the exact key arrangement in the listing.
