About this item
If you want the Valve Steam Machine 512GB with controller in one purchase, this open-box listing bundles both for $1,500. It's built around playing your Steam library from the couch, which makes it appealing to PC gamers who'd rather not run cables from a desk to the TV and to console players curious about Steam.
Should you buy an open-box Steam Machine with controller or console only?
The bundle saves hunting for a controller separately, but compare the total against console-only listings plus a controller you already own. Then dig into the condition notes.
- Confirm the controller is included and in working order.
- Check that the power cable is included.
- Ask whether the system has been reset and is free of the previous owner's account.
- Review photos for wear, since open box can mean light use.
