About this item
The Valve Steam Machine 512GB with controller is Valve's gaming PC for playing a Steam library, and this listing calls it open box while the condition field says new. Clear up that mismatch with the seller before you commit $1,500.
What should you ask before buying an open box Steam Machine?
Ask why the box was opened, and whether the unit was powered on, set up or signed in to an account.
- Confirm the controller, power cable and any paperwork are all present.
- Check whether 512GB of storage covers your game library, or plan for more space.
- Ask for photos of the actual unit rather than stock images.
- Compare pricing on other listings, since $1,500 is a significant spend.
It could make a tidy setup for couch gaming or as a compact game PC under the TV. The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers your purchase.
