About this item
The Casio SXC-1 portable standalone sampler puts 16 pads, a built-in mic and a built-in speaker into one unit. This new listing is priced at $279.33. Because it works standalone, it suits beatmakers and creators who want to sketch ideas away from a computer.
Can you sample without a laptop on the Casio SXC-1?
That's the idea behind a standalone sampler. You capture sounds with the built-in mic, play them on the pads and hear them through the speaker. The title also lists 64GB, so check the listing to see exactly what that figure refers to.
- Power: the title doesn't mention batteries or an adapter. Confirm how it's powered and what's in the box.
- Connections: check the listed ports if you plan to connect it to a computer or speakers.
- Manual: ask which region and manual language the unit comes with.
- Model code: it's listed as both SXC-1 and SXC1, which helps when you search for accessories.
