About this item
Small keycap kits are the fun part of customizing a board. The GMK Star Novelties kit adds accent caps in Cherry profile ABS for MX-style mechanical keyboards. It's listed new at $26, an easy way to add a few highlights without replacing a whole set.
Will GMK Star Novelties keycaps fit my keyboard?
If your switches have MX-style stems, the caps should mount. Profile matters too: Cherry profile caps sit at the same height as other Cherry profile sets, so they mix best with those.
- Count the caps in the photos and check that the sizes match the keys you want to swap.
- Check which key positions each cap is meant for.
- ABS can develop shine with heavy use. That's normal for the material, not a defect.
- Use the seller's photos to see whether the colors work with your current set.
