About this item
Need a simple machine for homework, email and streaming? The Acer Chromebook CB315-4H is a new 15.6-inch ChromeOS laptop with an Intel Celeron N4500, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage, priced at $289.99. The 15.6-inch LCD gives you more screen room than many smaller budget models.
Is a 15.6-inch Celeron Chromebook enough for students?
For Google Docs, online classes and video, yes. Lots of open tabs or games will push the 4GB of memory, and it won't run full Windows software.
- Look up this model's auto update date on Google's support site so you know how long it will get ChromeOS updates.
- 64GB of eMMC storage is modest, so plan on cloud storage.
- Confirm the charger is included.
- Compare it with similar Chromebooks if you want more RAM.
