How can I judge a Clix and Lacy tap cap listing before paying collector prices?
Rarity and originality are the seller's claims, so do your own checks. Ask for clear photos of every side of the packaging, and compare this listing against others and against recent sold prices.
- Packaging: make sure it's actually sealed, and look for tears, dents or signs of resealing.
- Compatibility: if you plan to use it, ask the seller what it fits, because the title doesn't say.
- Seller history: read the seller's feedback on other collectible sales.
- Sold comps: search completed listings to gauge a fair price.
