What should I verify on an open-box Alienware Area-51 gaming laptop at this price?
With this much money involved, go through the listing like a checklist. The title doesn't give exact model numbers, so get the full specs from the seller in writing.
- GPU and CPU: confirm the exact 5090 graphics model and which i9 chip it has.
- Keyboard and plug: confirm the keyboard layout and that the charger fits your region's outlets.
- Thermals: ask whether the fans and temperatures were checked under load.
- Cosmetics: ask for close-ups of the lid, hinges and screen.
