About this item
First-time PC gamers on a budget often end up with a machine like the Acer Nitro V 15 gaming laptop, and this one is listed new and sealed for $749.99. The title confirms GeForce RTX 4050 graphics, an Intel Core 5 processor and 16GB of DDR5 memory, a balanced mix for popular games at sensible settings.
Can the Nitro V 15 with an RTX 4050 handle modern games?
The RTX 4050 is an entry-level gaming graphics card that runs many current games well at moderate settings. The most demanding new releases may need lower settings.
- Storage: the drive size isn't listed, and game libraries take up space fast, so check it.
- Display: look for the refresh rate and resolution in the description. A higher refresh rate makes fast games feel smoother.
- Seal: photos of an intact factory seal back up the "new sealed" claim.
- Power brick: gaming laptops need their full-power charger, so make sure it's included.
