About this item
An Intel NUC6i5SYK barebone kit is a project, not a plug-and-play desktop. This listing is described as brand new and sealed (BOXNUC6I5S). For $149.99 you get a 6th Gen Core i5 mini PC, and the rest of the build is up to you.
What does a barebone mini PC kit need before it works?
Barebone kits usually come without memory, storage or an operating system. Plan to buy those separately and install them yourself.
- Compatible parts: look up which RAM and drive types this model supports before you order them.
- Power adapter: confirm it's included in the sealed box.
- Older platform: 6th Gen hardware may not meet the official Windows 11 requirements, so check compatibility or consider Linux.
- Use ideas: a home server, media center or test machine.
A good fit for tinkerers who enjoy building their own system.
