About this item
Want a fanless pfSense router or a home theater PC with no fan humming under the TV? The new Seneca Element is built around an Intel J6412 and listed for both jobs at $119.99.
Can the Seneca Element J6412 run pfSense?
The seller lists it as a pfSense router, but a firewall build needs the right network hardware. Check the details first.
- Network ports: count the Ethernet ports and check their speed against your internet plan.
- Memory and storage: neither is in the title, so look for them in the description.
- Media use: check the video outputs if it's going behind a TV.
- Power: make sure an adapter is included.
Whether you run a homelab or cut the cord, make sure the listing details match your setup before you buy.
