About this item
Kids learning to code, hobbyists and retro-gaming tinkerers are the usual buyers of a Raspberry Pi 500 desktop kit. This open-box listing specifies a US keyboard layout, 8GB of RAM and a 32GB SD card for the operating system and files.
Is $450 a fair price for an open-box Raspberry Pi 500 kit?
That depends on what's included. The title only confirms the computer, 8GB of RAM and the SD card, so compare the item list with other Pi 500 kits before you commit.
- Check whether the bundle includes a power supply, mouse, cables or a monitor.
- Ask if the 32GB SD card comes with an operating system already installed.
- Make sure the US layout matches the way you type.
- Ask about the open-box condition and any missing pieces.
