Is a 24-inch 1080p 75Hz monitor good for work and casual gaming?
Yes for spreadsheets, schoolwork, streaming and casual games. Competitive players who want 144Hz or higher should look for a faster panel.
- Second screen: at this price, it's an easy pick for a dual-monitor desk.
- Old and new PCs: VGA works with older desktops, while HDMI and DP suit modern laptops and graphics cards.
- Cables and stand: check which cables come in the box and whether the listing mentions an adjustable stand or VESA mounting.
- Adaptive-Sync: to reduce screen tearing, make sure your graphics card supports it.
