About this item
The Varie Keys Einperr Base99 mechanical keyboard packs 99 keys, which typically means you keep a numpad in a tighter footprint than a full-size board. It adds RGB backlighting and hot-swappable switches, so you can try new switches without soldering, all for $99 new. Office workers who live in spreadsheets and gamers who still want number keys are the natural audience.
Why pick a 99-key hot-swappable mechanical keyboard?
It sits between compact boards and full-size layouts, and hot-swap support means the keyboard can change with your taste.
- Included switches: check which switch type comes installed.
- Connection: confirm whether it's wired or wireless and which cable is in the box.
- Keycaps: look at the photos for legends and material details.
- Software: see whether RGB effects need an app or work from key shortcuts.
