About this item
A 7.84-inch mini monitor like this Wisecoco stretched bar display adds a 1280x400 IPS secondary screen for system stats, a music player or a chat window without taking over your desk.
What can you use a 1280x400 secondary screen for?
Popular ideas include a CPU and GPU temperature readout inside a PC case, a calendar or stock ticker strip, or a status panel for a Raspberry Pi project.
- Connections: the title doesn't list ports, so check which video input and power source it needs.
- Mounting: look for included brackets or a stand if you're not building it into a case.
- Software: some monitoring apps need tweaking for the unusual aspect ratio.
- Cables: confirm what's in the package.
At $49.07 new, it's an easy add-on for case modders and tinkerers.
