About this item
Need a budget office computer? This HP EliteDesk 800 G6 SFF desktop has an Intel i5-10500 at 3.1GHz, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, a 512GB HDD and Windows 11 Pro. It's listed certified refurbished at $225.00. The small form factor case suits home offices, small businesses and students.
Is the HP EliteDesk 800 G6 good enough for office work?
For email, documents, spreadsheets and video calls, the i5-10500 and 8GB of RAM are a reasonable starting point. A hard drive feels slower than an SSD, so many buyers plan to upgrade.
- Storage: it's a 512GB HDD, not an SSD, so budget for an SSD if speed matters.
- Peripherals: check whether a keyboard, mouse or power cable is included.
- Windows 11 Pro: confirm it's activated.
- Refurbishment details: find out who refurbished it and what condition grade it has.
