About this item
This Mac Studio M4 Max pairs a 16-core CPU and 40-core GPU with 128GB of RAM, a configuration aimed at professionals: 3D artists, colorists, music producers and anyone running local AI models that need lots of memory. This open box unit is listed at $6,600 with a 512GB SSD.
Why does a 128GB Mac Studio M4 Max come with only 512GB of storage?
Memory and storage are chosen separately, so this build puts the budget into RAM. Expect to add fast external drives for project files and media libraries.
