About this item
For CAD, 3D modeling or engineering coursework on a budget, a Dell Precision 7550 mobile workstation is worth considering. This open-box listing at $579 includes an Intel i7-10750H, 32GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, Quadro T2000 graphics and Windows 11 Pro on a 15.6in FHD display.
Is the Dell Precision 7550 with Quadro T2000 still good for professional work?
The 32GB of memory and Quadro graphics suit CAD, GIS and photo editing. Since it's an older generation, factor battery health and wear into the price.
- Battery: ask the seller about battery health and charge capacity.
- Charger: confirm the original power adapter is included.
- Condition: check photos of the keyboard, hinges and screen.
- Storage: 512GB may be tight for large project files, so check the listing for a spare drive bay.
