About this item
If you need a basic Lenovo 15.6-inch FHD Chromebook on a tight budget, this certified refurbished model 82N4002HUS costs $149.99. It runs Chrome OS on an Intel Celeron N4500 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. That light-duty setup covers homework, web browsing and video streaming.
Can a 4GB Lenovo Chromebook keep up with everyday use?
It handles a few tabs, Google apps and online classes, but expect slowdowns with many tabs open. It works best as a second device or a first laptop for a younger student.
- Update support: check the auto update date for model 82N4002HUS so you know how long it will receive security updates.
- Storage: 64GB is small, so plan on Google Drive for files.
- Refurb notes: read the cosmetic grade and confirm a charger is included.
The full HD 15.6-inch screen is a nice bonus at this price.
