About this item
A Lenovo ThinkPad 15.6-inch laptop with an Intel Core i5, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive for under $100 is an eye-catching price. The seller describes it as new and never used. It could suit basic office tasks, a backup machine or a tinkering project.
Which ThinkPad model and processor generation is this?
The title doesn't name the model or the Core i5 generation, and both affect performance a lot. Look for the model number in the photos or description, or message the seller.
- Storage: a 500GB HDD is slower than an SSD. Swapping in an SSD is a common upgrade.
- Memory: 4GB is tight for modern browsers, so check whether you can add RAM.
- Operating system: not listed, so confirm what's installed.
- Charger: verify one is included.
