About this item
A dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P620 sets this HP Z2 Tower G4 desktop apart from typical office PCs at $150.30. The certified refurbished tower pairs an Intel i5-8500 at 3GHz with 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and Windows 11 Pro, making it a low-cost pick for CAD students, light 2D design work and busy multi-screen desks.
Is the HP Z2 Tower G4 with Quadro P620 good for CAD?
It's suited to entry-level CAD and drafting. The P620 is a professional card rather than a gaming GPU, so don't expect high frame rates in modern games.
- RAM: 8GB is a starting point for CAD; ask about upgrade options.
- Video outputs: count the ports on the card in the photos.
- Storage: 256GB fills quickly with project files.
- Peripherals: a keyboard and mouse aren't listed.
