About this item
Engineers, architects and data scientists shopping for a Dell Precision 7770 mobile workstation will notice the 128GB of RAM first. This certified refurbished unit pairs that memory with an i9-12950HX, RTX A3000 graphics and a 1TB drive. It also has an FHD display, a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint reader (listed as FPR).
Is a refurbished Precision 7770 good for CAD and simulation work?
That is the work this configuration targets. Large assemblies, simulations and big datasets all benefit from lots of memory. Check that your software lists the RTX A3000 as supported.
- Refurbishment: find out who certified it and what was replaced or tested.
- Battery: ask for the battery health, since it varies on refurbished units.
- Charger: confirm a compatible power adapter is included.
- Unit number: "#04" suggests one of several units, so make sure the photos match the one you receive.
