About this item
Looking for an affordable HP ENVY 795 desktop? This Certified - Refurbished 795-0137cb model has an Intel Core i7-8700 at 3.2 GHz, 12GB of DDR4 memory, a 2TB hard drive and Windows 11 Home for $289.99. That makes it a budget-friendly home desktop.
Is a refurbished HP ENVY with an i7-8700 still worth it?
An older i7 desktop still handles family use, office software, browsing and storing media. The 2TB hard drive has lots of room for photos and files, but it starts up and loads programs more slowly than an SSD.
- Speed upgrade: adding an SSD is a popular, inexpensive speed boost, so check for a spare drive bay.
- Graphics: the title doesn't list a graphics card, so it's not a gaming PC.
- Refurb notes: read what was tested or replaced.
- Accessories: confirm whether a keyboard and mouse come with it.
