About this item
Designers, photographers and Mac or laptop users who want very crisp text should look at the BenQ PD2730S 27 inch 5K IPS monitor. It runs 5K UHD at 60Hz with a 5ms response time. Its Thunderbolt 4 port provides 90W, which can power a laptop over the same cable, and HDMI and DisplayPort cover your other devices. It's listed as certified refurbished for $873.
Is a 5K 60Hz monitor good for creative work?
Yes. 5K on a 27 inch screen gives very fine detail for photo retouching, design layouts and code. 60Hz is enough for that work, but it isn't meant for fast gaming.
- Laptop charging: 90W covers many laptops. Check your laptop's power needs.
- Cable: confirm that a Thunderbolt cable is included.
- Color accuracy: calibration details aren't in the title, so check the listing.
- Refurb grade: read the seller's condition notes and look over the photos.
