About this item
The 2013 Apple Mac Pro A1481, often nicknamed the trash-can Mac Pro, shows up here with a 3.5GHz 6-core Xeon, 48GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. The seller describes it as clean and in box, and it's listed open box at $425.00.
Is a 2013 Mac Pro still useful today?
For collectors, audio hobbyists or anyone wanting lots of memory on a budget, it can still be a capable workstation, but software support is the big question for an older Mac.
- macOS version: confirm what's installed; older models may not run the newest releases.
- Graphics: the GPU isn't in the title, so check the listing.
- Power cable: make sure it's included.
- Activation: verify it's signed out of iCloud.
