What should I verify on an open box Core Ultra 7 265?
CPUs are delicate, so the photos and description matter more than the price. Ask the seller whether the chip has been installed before.
- Socket and chipset: confirm that your motherboard supports this chip before you buy.
- Contact pads: ask for clear photos of the underside.
- sSpec match: make sure the SRQCX code printed on the chip matches the listing.
- Cooler: check whether one is included or whether you need your own.
