About this item
This open-box Apple Mac mini M2 Pro has a 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, listed at $1,600. All that memory and storage make it a good fit for photo editing, music production, coding and running many apps at once.
Is an open-box M2 Pro Mac mini still a smart buy?
That depends on what you need. Plenty of buyers would rather have 32GB and 1TB than a newer chip with less memory. Compare it with current Mac mini listings that have similar RAM and storage before you decide.
- Open box: ask what was opened and whether it was used.
- In the box: make sure the power cable is included.
- Activation: make sure the Mac is signed out of the previous owner's Apple ID.
- Photos: check the case and ports for marks.
