About this item
Bluetooth, backlighting and a built-in battery are the three features the title of this Clicks Power Keyboard CP-1000 promises. Together they point to a cable-free setup with no spare batteries to buy. The Onyx finish and English QWERTY layout round it out, and the open box price is $89.
How do you vet an open box Clicks Power Keyboard CP-1000?
Start with the battery. Ask the seller how well it holds a charge, and check whether a charging cable comes in the box.
- Pairing: confirm which phones, tablets or computers it works with over Bluetooth, since the title doesn't list devices.
- Backlight: ask for a photo with the lighting switched on.
- Cosmetics: a dark Onyx finish can show scuffs, so look closely at the casing and keys.
- Protection: the purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
It's a good fit for typing in dim rooms or on the move.
