What should I check on an open-box ROG G16 gaming laptop?
Gaming laptops can rack up heavy use quickly, so the seller's condition notes tell you more than the open-box label.
- Thermals and fans: look for any mention of testing under load, or of fan noise.
- Charger: a laptop with an RTX 4070 needs its proper power adapter, so confirm it's included.
- Display specs: the title gives only the screen size, so check the resolution and refresh rate.
- Storage: 1TB fills up fast with modern games, so ask whether there's room to add a second drive.
