About this item
If your desktop won't power on and you've traced it to the PSU, this 500W power supply for Dell XPS 8940, G5, 7060, 5060 and 7080MT systems is listed new at $57.94. The title references model D500EPM-00 and part numbers 5K7J8 / 05K7J8, which helps you match it to the unit you're replacing.
How do I check this Dell XPS 8940 power supply fits?
Remove the side panel and read the label on your current PSU. If the model or part number matches, you're on the right track; also compare the connector layout with the listing photos, since compact OEM desktops often use non-standard plugs.
- Wattage: if you're adding a more power-hungry graphics card, check that 500W is enough.
- Maker: the title says for Dell, so confirm in the listing who manufactured it.
- Safety: unplug the PC and follow your system's service manual when swapping.
