About this item
Video editors, photographers and developers who want serious headroom in a small footprint should look at this Apple Mac Mini M4 Pro. It has 48GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and the 20-GPU configuration. The seller describes it as "never really used," and it's listed open box at $3,099.
Is an open-box Mac Mini M4 Pro with 48GB worth it?
48GB of RAM is generous for multicam edits, large photo catalogs and running several dev tools at once. The open-box status is what you need to weigh, so compare the price against a factory-sealed equivalent.
- Activation Lock: ask the seller to confirm the Mac is signed out of iCloud.
- Serial number: ask for it so you can check the configuration and any remaining Apple coverage.
- In the box: confirm the power cable and original packaging are included.
- Cosmetics: zoom into the photos to look for scuffs on the case.
