About this item
A Dell Precision 7680 with an i9-13950HX, 32GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD is built for software that overwhelms ordinary laptops, such as CAD, 3D modeling, video editing and data work. The 16-inch screen and NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada graphics make it a true mobile workstation. This unit is listed open box with Windows 11 Pro.
Is an open box Dell Precision 7680 workstation worth it?
Open box often means a lower price on hardware that saw little use. Each seller defines the term differently, so read their description and study the photos closely.
- Charger: confirm a power adapter is included, since workstation laptops draw serious power.
- Battery and screen: look for notes on battery health and any marks on the 16-inch panel.
- Storage: 2TB holds large project files and asset libraries without an external drive.
- Windows 11 Pro: useful for business features like domain join and device encryption.
