What do I need to pair with an LGA 1851 Core Ultra 7 265F?
You need a motherboard with the LGA 1851 socket. Older Intel boards will not take it.
- Graphics: Check whether this model includes onboard graphics, and plan for a graphics card if it does not.
- Cooling: Confirm whether a cooler is included, and buy one rated for LGA 1851 if not.
- Open-box condition: Ask for close-up photos of the pads and confirm the chip was not removed from a damaged board.
- Who it suits: A 20-core chip suits gamers who stream, video editors and heavy multitaskers.
