About this item
This Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 13.5-inch is an affordable way into the Surface lineup at $275. It carries an i5-1145G7 at 2.6GHz, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, and the seller notes it comes with the box. Students and commuters who mostly type, browse and join calls will get the most from it.
What should you check on an open-box Surface Laptop 4?
Open box can mean anything from barely used to a return with light wear, so photos and the written description carry a lot of weight here.
- Battery health: ask for a battery report or an estimate of remaining capacity.
- Charger: the title mentions the box, not the power supply, so confirm it's included.
- Storage headroom: 256GB fills up quickly; plan on cloud storage if you keep lots of media.
- Account lock: make sure it's reset and not tied to a previous Microsoft account.
