About this item
If you need a ceiling-mounted screen, the XO Vision GX1729 17-inch wide screen overhead monitor is listed here in open-box condition for $74.99. That is a modest outlay for adding a display above seating, where a desk monitor won't work.
What should you check on an open-box 17-inch overhead monitor?
Open box can mean anything from an unopened return to a display unit, so the parts list matters most.
- Confirm that the mounting hardware, power lead and any remote are included.
- Check the listing for input types and power requirements before you plan the wiring.
- Measure your mounting area. If you're fitting it in a van or SUV, make sure a 17-inch screen clears the headliner and seats.
- Look for photos showing the screen surface and housing up close.
