About this item
A Dell Pro 24 all-in-one thin client like this 300T unit is built for offices, call centers and kiosks that run apps from a server or a cloud desktop. It has a 23.8-inch screen, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5, and it runs ThinOS. It's listed open box at $649.00.
Can a ThinOS thin client replace a regular Windows desktop?
Not directly. ThinOS is designed to connect to virtual desktop (VDI) services, so this suits IT teams that already use VDI. It isn't a good fit for home users who want to run programs on the computer itself.
- Compatibility: confirm that your VDI or remote desktop service supports ThinOS.
- Part numbers: FT0Y5 and QC24251 help match the exact configuration.
- Accessories: check whether a keyboard, mouse or power supply is included.
- Licensing: ask the seller about the ThinOS license status.
