About this item
Video editors, 3D artists and heavy multitaskers often run out of 32GB, and the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64GB DDR5-6000 CL36 kit doubles that. It's two 32GB sticks, part number F5-6000J3636F32GX2-TZ5NRW, listed new.
Is 64GB of DDR5-6000 overkill for a gaming PC?
For gaming alone, 32GB is usually plenty. The 64GB capacity makes more sense for content creation, virtual machines and running a game alongside streaming tools.
- Compatibility: confirm your motherboard supports DDR5 and check its memory support list for this kit.
- Speed settings: you'll likely need to enable a memory profile in the BIOS to run it at 6000.
- Price: at $700, compare other current listings for the same part number.
