About this item
The Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID (model A2449) lets you unlock a Mac with Apple silicon and approve purchases with your fingerprint instead of typing a password. This listing is the white version with a US layout and Lightning charging, offered new at $89.99.
Does the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID work with my Mac?
The title says it's for Macs with Apple silicon, so it's aimed at owners of M-series MacBooks, iMacs and Mac minis. Intel Macs aren't mentioned, so don't count on Touch ID working on one.
- Cable: check whether a charging cable shows up in the photos or is listed as included.
- Layout: this is the US English layout, so if you type in another language, look for a different version.
- Packaging: the condition is listed as new, but check the photos for the original box.
- Desk fit: the white finish suits a tidy dorm or home office setup.
