About this item
If your MSI GL73 or GP73 has a split palmrest, a worn keyboard deck or a broken base, this MSI GL73 GP73 palmrest and bottom cover enclosure lets you rebuild the shell instead of retiring the laptop. The seller lists it as new for GL73, GP73, GP73M and MS-17P1 models, at $94.26.
What should I check before buying an MSI GP73 palmrest replacement?
Start with the MS-17P1 code on your laptop's label. Then compare the port cutouts in the seller's photos with the ports on your own machine.
- Find out if a keyboard or touchpad comes installed, or if you'll move your old ones over.
- Compare the vents and screw holes on the bottom cover with your unit.
- Make sure the color and finish shown match your current laptop housing.
- The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers you if it arrives not as described.
For gamers keeping an older MSI running, a full upper case and bottom cover swap is a practical repair.
