About this item
The Rii i8+ Bluetooth mini keyboard makes it easier to run a media PC from the sofa. It combines a backlit keyboard with a touchpad, so one small device handles both typing and pointing. It's listed new at $28.99.
Is a mini touchpad keyboard combo good for a home theater PC?
For quick searches, logins and getting around menus, a backlit mini combo is much easier than a full desk setup. The backlight helps in a dark room. It isn't made for long typing sessions.
- Bluetooth support: make sure your TV box, PC or tablet accepts Bluetooth keyboards.
- Power: check whether it has a built-in battery or uses replaceable cells.
- Key layout: zoom in on the photos to see which keys it has.
- Range: the title doesn't give it, so ask the seller if you sit far from the screen.
