About this item
Building a near-silent mini PC? The HDPLEX 250W GaN passive AIO ATX power supply combines gallium nitride (GaN) design with passive cooling. With no fan to make noise, it makes sense for a fanless small form factor build, a living-room HTPC or a quiet office machine. It is listed as open box at $85, so read the listing carefully.
Is 250W enough for a fanless ATX power supply build?
It often is for low-power CPUs and integrated graphics. Add up your components' power draw first. A power-hungry graphics card is a different story.
- Because it's open box, ask whether the unit was used and why it was returned.
- Check the photos for the included cables and whether an AC adapter is part of the package.
- Confirm the connectors are compatible with your motherboard and case.
- Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Silent builds reward planning, so map out your power budget before you buy.
